Hi, my name is Bobbi, and I’m a Personal Trainer in Irvine, California. I’m originally from Idaho, but moved to California in 2011. After moving to such an amazing and sunny place, I really began loving working out outside and I love training my clients in an outdoor space. My passion is helping others better their health, get in shape and lose weight.
My personal training style could be called ‘functional training’.
What is functional training?
It’s using your body-weight and free weights, such as dumbbells and kettle-bells, along with resistance bands, to create strength in the ways you use your body every day. How many of you do a squat while holding a barbell straight over your head in real life? I haven’t met anyone yet! But being able to turn and pick something up at an odd angle and not throw your back out? Yeah, I see a need for that. That is what I focus on in my own life and in my training sessions with clients.
